Health Advocacy

As part of WestMed College's nonprofit mission, the College has assembled doctors, nurses, social workers, financial planners, insurance experts, and lawyers to educate organizations and family members who have parents or loved ones entering the healthcare system. Speakers in San Jose, Fresno, Merced, and Chula Vista are available for presentations to community organizations, businesses, and healthcare professionals at no charge. The goal is to build community networks and assist families with preparing for and coping with the pressures and challenges of entering the healthcare system. WestMed College also provides valuable information on today's most pressing healthcare issues in the form of white papers. Below is a list of available white papers.
